Product Overview

TOPSPAN-FT1/E1&DSU(Fractional T1/E1 DSU/CSU) function as interfaces between DTE and T1/E1 trunks with short haul and long haul, respectively.

Our system can equip with EIA RS-530/V.35/RS-449 DTE interface for data transmission and G.703 T1/E1 or Fractional T1/E1 to support drop & insert functions. To fulfill the need for rapid growing INTERNET population, TOPSPAN-FT1/E1&DSU is the best for ordinary INTERNET access.

With a flexible mechanical and unique software design, TOPSPAN-FT1/E1&DSU offers friendly features such as easy installation, Operations, Administration, Maintenance and Provisioning (OAM&P) for ISP (Internet Service Providers) or Telecommunication carriers.

• FT1/E1 and DSU port interfaces meet ITU-T G.703,G.704, T1.403, AT&T PUB 62411 and AT&T PUB 54016 requirements
• Built-in QRSS and 215-1 PRBS generator and receiver
• Arbitrary time slot mapping for fractional T1/E1 and N x 64[56] Kbps signal
• Programmable short/long haul and T1/E1 interface
• In-band loopback code detection supported
• One DTE port is default as EIA RS-530, the second DTE port and Drop/Insert FT1/E1 port are optional
• Up to 16 T1/E1 DSU cards can be accommodated in one 19" shelf .
