TOPSPAN HDSL

Product Overview

HDSL (High-bit-0rate Digital Subscriber Line), one of Taicom's TOPSPAN Series products, provides T1 and E1 transport. Both models repeaterlessly transmit T1/E1 signals at a distance up to 4.5 km over two pairs of copper wires with data rate 1.544Mbits / 2.048 Mbits.

As a delicate design by Taicom, TOPSPAN-HDSL not only uss a shelf-designed Framer ASIC to perform best transmission ability, but also adds design originality to increase mechanical and hardware flexibility. TOPSPAN-HDSL is ideal for INTERNET access connection, Base Transceiver Station (BTS) connecting for cellular phone system, T1/E1 leased lines, Nx64[56]Kb/s data service, SMDS ...etc.

• Compliant with ITU-T G.991.1 and ANSI TR-28 two pair HDSL standards.
